feels passionately called to share the transformative love of Jesus with everyone. Their journey
brought them here from the Northeast Annual Conference of the Global Methodist Church,
where Pastor Bob took a leadership role in its formation, and now they are excited to offer a
church where authentic faith meets everyday life.
Pastor Bob’s life was forever changed when he received Christ at the age of ten. That pivotal,
defining moment ignited a deep desire in him to see everyone experience the same grace and
freedom found in a genuine relationship with our heavenly Father. Through his passionate
service and commitment to pastoral ministry, Pastor Bob believes that when the truth of Jesus
is shared openly, lives are transformed, hearts are healed, and communities grow stronger.

The Global Methodist Church was launched on May 1, 2022, out of the Wesleyan Covenant Association, and it is a movement powered by the Holy Spirit, circling the globe.

Foundations Methodist Church – McAllen was born from its founding board’s desire to seek the Holy Spirit in forming its vision and mission. The vision and mission are written to direct the congregation’s participation in the life of the local community, with the intention of sharing Jesus in the world.
We are a people sharing good news and building a firm foundation for faith by (1) speaking truth, (2) extending grace, and (3) remaining salt and light to the world.
Our congregational vision statement reflects each person’s desire to bring the life-transforming gospel to people we encounter in worship and out in the world, as a result of our faithful obedience to God’s call.
We, the people of Foundations Global Methodist Church, share the good news of Jesus Christ, while we build a firm foundation for faith by (1) speaking biblical truth, (2) extending God’s grace to others, and (3) remaining salt and light to the world, through the power of the Holy Spirit, until Christ returns.
